Can I use Hummingbird for AML transaction monitoring?

Yes! Hummingbird can be used for AML transaction monitoring. Our solution connects directly to your cloud data warehouse, allowing compliance teams to build rules using all your data, not simply transactions. Rules can be written using a combination of SQL queries and a no-code builder. There’s no lengthy setup period or ongoing development work needed to add new data views – making it ideal for teams that need flexible, scalable AML monitoring without the overhead of traditional monitoring providers.

Can I use Hummingbird for fraud detection & prevention?

Yes! Hummingbird can be used for fraud detection and prevention. It is important to note that our solution does not sit in the flow of funds. It can, however, be used to detect and prevent fraud for certain non-real-time time payment methods, such as ACH, wire, and check. Hummingbird can also be used for other types of fraud monitoring – for example, helping teams analyze fraud patterns, test new rules for emergent fraud typologies, and investigate more complex fraud, such as fraud rings.

What cloud data warehouses do you support?

Do I need to know SQL to use your solution?

Yes and no. (But mostly yes.) While our monitoring solution is designed for you to build and deploy rules without needing engineering resources, your team must have some proficiency with SQL. You’ll write SQL queries to define the data views used for monitoring. You can put the rule logic entirely into the SQL query or use a combination of SQL queries and our no-code builder.
